Remodeling can cause what we know as "Construction Fever" Construction fever can develop at two points--either when the job is two-thirds done or when it is completed. Symptoms include vague expressions of displeasure or discomfor such as, "This isn't what I thought it would be," "Is that the (cabinet, sink, wallpaper, paneling, flooring) we chose? "How much longer will you be (doing that? making that noise? creating dust?)"
