Since most bathroom stuff is small, build shallow shelves in between the wall studs. If your vanity sits in an alcove, try a medicine chest on each side, instead of just one on the back wall. Build open shelving for towels into a corner. Place a cabinet on that blank wall above the toilet. Hang a rack made of coated wire on the back of the door. And, if you're not afraid to knock down a wall, you might try annexing space from an adjoining closet or bedroom. 

Secret Weapon In The Fight Against Scum. 

  How do you get rid of soapy gunk on chrome faucets and fixtures? Try white wine vinegar. Soak a paper towel in it, then squeeze out the excess. Wrap it around the chrome and let it stand for 10 minutes. 

  Then take off the wet towel and buff the chrome with a dry one. Do not, however, try this with brass or colored fixtures. We do have another neat trick, though. While you have the vinegar out, you can unclog a sink drain mucked up with soap residue. It's far safer than chemical drain openers.
